How does it brighten the skin?

The product actively protects the skin by affecting the freckles and pigmented spots formation process in its initial stage.

Tranexamic acid is an amino acid used for therapeutic applications. Namely, it is used in medicine to treat chloasma. Chloasma is a type of pigmentation, a condition in which an increased amount of melanin is produced and deposited in the skin cells. Tranexamic acid is effective in the initial stages of pigmented spots formation because it blocks plasmin, which activates melanin production.

Alpinia katsumadai seed extract. Research has shown that there exists an inhibitory system for melanin production by melanocytes called "PLD1 signal". Alpinia katsumadai seed extract significantly activates the "PLD1 signal" system inhibiting melanin production, which provides a high skin-lightening effect.

The hydrolyzed filtrate of Codonopsis pilosula in the lotion inhibits pigmentation by suppressing tyrosinase activity. In traditional medicine, it is valued as highly as ginseng and is considered a powerful skin-rejuvenescent agent.

Chamomile extract has antiseptic, disinfectant, wound healing and analgesic properties. It soothes, softens and makes more elastic sensitive and irritated skin, as well as has anti-allergic properties. The component is able to fight pigmentation and correct uneven skin tone.

How does it create skin glow?

Innovative ingredients in the lotion work to create the effect of radiant skin. The lotion contains liquorice extract in nanoform, which is able to penetrate deeply into the stratum corneum of the skin, making it look "transparent.

Lipophilic liquorice extract. A special encapsulation technology allowed to add lipophilic liquorice extract containing glabridine (a flavonoid characterized by high skin-lightening properties) to the lotion in nanoform. This ensures penetration of the component into the deeper layers of the skin. The extract also effectively enhances the skin's natural ability to produce ceramides (substances that maintain the skin's hydration level and it’s protective functions necessary to protect the skin from external environment).

Actinidia polygama fruit extract inhibits carbonylation processes, that, along with ageing, cause skin dullness. The extract fights skin dullness, moisturizes and lightens the skin.

Glycosyl trehalose effectively fights glycation (combination with glucose, oxidation and damage) of proteins, which gives the skin a yellowish-earthy colour.

Dipotassium glycyrrhizinate is an antioxidant with anti-inflammatory and skin-smoothing properties. In medicine, dipotassium glycyrrhizinate is used to cure dermatitis. It is a highly potent soothing ingredient, suitable for sensitive skin prone to irritation, redness and itch. The agent soothes irritation caused by external environment, including UV exposure, and mechanical damage-induced conditions (contact dermatitis). It effectively protects the skin and prevents inflammation.

Lacto-fermented European pear juice filtrate is a prebiotic used to protect the skin from damage caused by exposure to environment. It has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties and helps create a healthy and well-balanced skin microbiome.

How does it moisturize?

The lotion contains the Triple Hyaluronic Acid moisturizing complex, which works to bring back volume and healthy look of the skin.

The lotion contains a large amount of hyaluronic acid of three types, characterized by different sizes of molecules. Low molecular weight hyaluronic acid, whose particle size is only 1/100 that of common hyaluronic acid, penetrates deep into the stratum corneum of the skin. Sodium acetylated hyaluronate retains moisture in the stratum corneum, while regular sodium hyaluronate envelops the skin. This formulation is called Triple Hyaluronic Acid.

Sodium hyaluronate is a form of hyaluronic acid responsible for the skin surface hydration. It promotes the normalization of water balance, as it forms a moisturizing protective veil on the skin, which reduces transepidermal loss of moisture, and actively absorbs water from the air, thus moisturizing and softening the skin surface. Moreover, sodium hyaluronate makes the skin feel soft and silky smooth to the touch.

Sodium acetylated hyaluronate is a type of hyaluronic acid responsible for moisturizing the skin from the inside over a long period of time and for preventing the loss of moisture.

Penetrable hyaluronic acid (hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid) is a variation of hyaluronic acid, which penetrates deep into corneal layer of the skin and moisturizes it from the inside.

Why is it anti-aging?

Stress and age-related changes reduce collagen and ceramide levels, which causes the skin to lose elasticity, become loose and dull. The lotion contains components, which secure the complex anti-aging effect of the product.

Ceramide III possesses high moisturizing properties, preventing dryness and wrinkle formation and keeping skin barrier strong. Ceramides are natural lipids that are the main structural components of the protective layer of the skin. Ceramides prevent transepidermal moisture loss and serve as a shield against bacteria and external pollutants. The amount of ceramides in the corneal layer of the skin decreases as we age, and this is one of the reasons of age-related dryness.

Hydrophilic collagen is characterized by high moisturizing and water retention properties. The component delivers hydration to the skin, making it more elastic.

Carambola leaves extract promotes the synthesis of collagen, helps fight wrinkles and loose skin.

Tocopherol (vitamin E) makes wrinkles less prominent, stimulates the synthesis of collagen, slows down age-related loosening of the skin. Vitamin E effectively enhances tissue regeneration and prevents the formation of scars. Tocopherol is added to formulations for softening, moisturizing, nurturing and tonifying of the skin, especially sensitive skin and skin prone to diseases. The component prevents pigmentation and helps strengthen capillary walls, thus improving the condition of couperose skin and reducing dark circles under the eyes.

How to Use

After cleansing, apply a small amount of the lotion onto your face and neck down to collarbones and, using light movements, spread it, working from the centre outwards on the face area and from the bottom upwards on the neck area.

The lotion is suitable for the area around eyes.

Safety Precautions

Do not use on skin with oedema, eczema and other conditions. If any discomfort or irritation occur, stop using the product and consult your dermatologist. Make sure to prevent the product from getting into your eyes. If the product has gotten into your eyes, wash it away immediately with plenty of water.

Do not store the product at extremely high or low temperatures, keep away from direct sunlight. Store in places inaccessible for children.
